Description:
  • POSITION PURPOSE
    • Functions as a knowledgeable EHR consultant, trainer, educator and evaluator responsible for supporting and training end users on revenue cycle systems functionality and workflows. (registration, scheduling, HIM and billing)Collaborates with analysts, departments and end users to design appropriate application workflows. Designs and executes ongoing training programs for new hires and system changes/updates.
  • MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
    • High School plus specialized training (6 mons-2 yrs)
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    • 1 to 3 years

    • N/A
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
    • Strong customer service and verbal, written and interpersonal communicational skills
    • Should be self-directed, have excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities  
    • Knowledgeable in registration/scheduling/revenue software applications
    • Demonstrate knowledge of educational concepts and adult learner
    • Must be able to read, write, hear, speak and comprehend the English language
    • Excellent computer skills
  • PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    • Functions as a knowledgeable EHR consultant, trainer, educator and evaluator responsible for supporting and training end users on revenue cycle systems functionality and workflows. (registration, scheduling, HIM and billing)
    • Designs and executes ongoing training programs for new hires and system changes/upgrades.
    • Develop appropriate training materials for each area and user type.
    • Collaborates with analysts, departments and end users to design appropriate application workflows.
    • Provides content expertise that supports care area teams.
