Winchester Radiologists, P.C. (https://winchesterrad.com/) is a 50+ year independent, physician-owned practice of 25+ board certified, sub-specialty trained Radiologists and 4 mid-level providers serving Northwest Virginia and eastern West Virginia. We are the only radiology practice for 6 Valley Health Hospitals (https://www.valleyhealthlink.com/) and Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, VA (https://www.fauquierhealth.org/). Valley Health's Winchester Medical Center is a 500 bed stroke and level 2 trauma center. The other regional hospitals range in size from 14 to 100 beds. The practice owns and operates a highly successful Imaging Center (https://winchesterimaging.com/) with opportunities for equal ownership and an outpatient interventional radiology clinic.

We are seeking diagnostic radiologists with fellowship training in body or neuroradiology or a general radiologist to accommodate growth and retirements. Radiologists with particular interest, training, or experience in Cardiothoracic are encouraged to apply. Radiologists will spend 50% or more of their time in their subspeciality. Onsite partnership track preferred. Full-time, part-time, remote physician options also available.

Collegial work environment with reasonable RVU expectations. Most workdays are 8am-5pm. Call shared evenly with post-call days off. The practice fosters excellent working relationships with referring physicians and hospital administration.


Compensation

Partner compensation includes competitive professional and technical income.

Starting salary $350,000 + benefits. Fully vested partner compensation after 2 years $600,000+

1 year partnership track in the professional services corporation. Equal partnership after year 2 in the highly profitable imaging center resulting in significant increase of total compensation.

9 weeks of vacation with post-call days off equaling an additional 4 weeks of paid time off.

Additional deferred compensation from hospital $500/call night.


Position Requirements

Board certified or eligible (ABR/AOBR).

Fellowship training for Body.

Fellowship training and CAQ for neuroradiology.

No fellowship training requirement for general radiology.

Licensed or can be licensed in the states of Virginia and West Virginia.
