Maintenance Worker
The Williams Bay School District is seeking a reliable and skilled full-time District Maintenance Worker to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, electrical work, and more.
- Assist with snow removal, event setups, and furniture moving.
- Maintain school grounds, report property damage, and address safety concerns.
- Assist with HVAC maintenance and minor repairs.
- Ensure the cleanliness of school premises and manage waste and recycling procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Job-related experience or skills, ideally within an educational setting.
- Ability to lift at least 65 lbs, climb ladders, and operate custodial equipment.
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance tasks.
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and ethical conduct.
Physical Demands: The position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
