Positions located in Knoxville, TN
Hybrid Schedule
The Office of Innovative Technology is seeking applicants for multiple IT Analyst openings ranging from analyst II, III, and IV to work within our Business Information Systems group. These positions will create and support .Net and/or PHP applications along with supporting other 3rd party applications. It will require the ability to design, modify, develop, test, and document complex software solutions (purchased software, internally developed software, software modifications, and software interfaces/integrations).
Qualifications :
Responsibilities
· Modifies and implements software designs, oversees development of test plans and testing of software (in-house, purchased, or enhanced purchased software) solutions of high complexity.
· Builds interfaces/integrations between various software packages and/or applications.
· Develops reports using data from multiple sources, ensuring all data is synchronized and accurate.
· Analyzes business processes and prioritizes user development requirements to achieve maximum efficiency in software for projects committed. Develops technical documentation of development projects.
· Performs moderate- to-advanced-level problem analysis and debugging on software applications.
· Accomplishes these development activities systems with a significant level of independence.
· Communicates with functional team members and users to gather requirements and convey progress on tasks to facilitate an iterative application development life cycle.
· Researches, trains, and leads new technology initiatives as requested. Coaches and collaborates with other programming staff on development techniques and practices.
IT Analyst II
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years experience supporting complex enterprise software OR Associate's Degree and four (4) years experience supporting complex enterprise software OR Seven (7) years experience supporting complex enterprise software
IT Analyst III
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years experience supporting complex enterprise software OR Associate's Degree and five (5) years experience supporting complex enterprise software OR eight (8) years experience supporting complex enterprise software.
Preferred Qualifications
· Higher Education Experience
· Experience developing web applications in Azure hosted environments
IT Analyst IV
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years experience supporting complex enterprise software OR Associate's Degree and seven (7) years experience supporting complex enterprise software OR nine (9) years experience supporting complex enterprise software
Preferred Qualifications
· Higher Education Experience
· Experience developing web applications in Azure hosted environments.
