FULL TIME REGULARDIRECT

Summary: Electrical configure and wiring of new and existing electrical components of Putzmeister America Products

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Electrical wiring and reconfigure of Putzmeister products to Putzmeister standards
    Conduct tests to installed components, in-house or vendors supplied, and verify the proper function of those components
    Provide professional workmanship and quality to the installation and/or modification of all installed electrical elements
    Provide documentation relating to inspections, modifications, and audits
    Assist ‘on-site’ vendors with technical information and support to enhance Putzmeister products
    Assist Electrical/Maintenance department in various aspects of production
    Read and understand electrical schematics
    Maintain high standard in housekeeping, safety, and quality
    Perform additional duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:
    Knowledge of 12 volt and 24 volt electrical systems
    1-to-3 verifiable years of electrical expertise
    Read and understand Metric system
    Show proficiency in use of basic electrical equipment (Voltage Meter)
    Must be able to connect pneumatics on OTR
    Supply own set of basic tools

Education/Certification/Training:
    High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
    Trade or technical training in electrical systems
    CDL license preferred
    Mandatory safety training (see ‘Total Compliance Management’ program
    On-the-job training

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to dust, working near moving mechanical parts, and is occasionally exposed to chemicals.
    Uniforms, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses/goggles must be worn at all times while in designated areas of shop
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and use hands-to-finger, handle, or touch. Frequently required to push and/or pull
    Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; occasionally having to lift/move up to 70 pounds
    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, peripheral, and/or the ability to focus
