Maintenance Technicians

Large Apartment Management Company has immediate need for maintenance/repair persons. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining the integrity and good condition of our apartment units.

Responsibilities include:

• Making-ready empty apartment units
• Completing work orders quickly and effectively
• Performing interior and exterior building repairs
• Lifting and installing appliances (such as refrigerators & stoves)
• Installing cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, etc.
• Use and ownership of hand tools, electric drill, etc.
• Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry and HVAC
• Need for valid driver's license and work vehicle

Day to day work duties:

• Electrical issues
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Drywall
• HVAC
• Light fixtures
• Filter changes
• Lock repairs
• Installing appliances and bathroom fixtures
• Caulking
• Vinyl repair and installation
• Custodial work

Desired Skills and Character Traits:

• Ability to pass criminal background check
• Ability to independently lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, read, climb, bend, and kneel
• Honesty, integrity and respectful behavior
• Fair treatment towards all persons
• Interest in problem-solving
• Willingness to be a team player
• 2-5 years maintenance experience preferred

Salary based on experience, $18 minimum

Full-time & part-time positions available

Salary: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Monday to Friday and on-call scheduling
