We are seeking an experienced Director of Revenue Operations to lead and optimize our advertising and passive revenue streams. This leadership role will focus on evolving our programmatic stack, setting and monitoring KPIs, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring high-performing, data-driven outcomes for our clients. You will work closely with both the programmatic execution team and clients to drive retention and revenue growth.
As the Director, you'll lead a dynamic team, implementing strategic initiatives that improve programmatic ad performance across display and CTV, and continuously exploring innovative opportunities to stay ahead of industry trends.

- Technical Stack Management - Overseeing the programmatic stack with a strong focus on yield optimization and performance maximization.
- Customer Management - Handling the complete customer journey, from onboarding to ongoing account management, issue resolution, and conducting regular performance reviews with multiple program participants.

Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive programmatic strategies for BLOX Digital's program partners, ensuring measurable success.
- Provide strategic direction on process improvement, bidding strategies, and stack optimization to enhance programmatic operations.
- Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with key platforms, data providers, and inventory sources to deliver innovative and scalable advertising solutions.
- Formalize the reporting and performance review processes, creating a standardized approach for client business reviews.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement, keeping senior leadership and stakeholders informed of program outcomes.
- Maintain yield and revenue forecasting process to ensure the program is tracking against financial projections.
- Lead the team's growth and development through effective onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing training.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in programmatic advertising, covering display, mobile, and OTT technologies.
- Serve as a thought leader by contributing to industry insights, case studies, and trend analysis, shaping BLOX Digital's point of view on programmatic advertising.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to align programmatic strategies with broader company goals and develop client solutions that drive upsell opportunities.
- Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience mentoring and managing a team of programmatic analysts and account managers.
- Industry Expertise: Minimum of 7 years in programmatic ad management, ideally within the News Media or Broadcast sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of programmatic infrastructure, including DSPs (e.g., Trade Desk), ad servers (Google Ad Manager, SpringServe), and Prebid tools (Amazon TAM, Header Bidder tools).
- Data & Analytics: Proficiency with reporting and analysis tools such as DOMO, Google Analytics, and similar dashboards.
- Digital Media Knowledge: Solid background in digital media strategies, including awareness and consideration metrics for campaign performance measurement.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels within an organization.
- Occasional travel to corporate offices (Moline, IL), industry conferences and in person visits to client meetings.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in Programmatic stack Management.
- Previous Team Leadership experience, specifically with Programmatic Teams.
