Processing Mechanic - 2nd and 3rd Shift
The 2nd and 3rd Shift Processing Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing their assigned area processes and infrastructure equipment.
- Responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining process equipment, apparatus, fixtures, etc. using hand tools, power tools and test equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and drive equipment improvements. Monitors packaging equipment for proper operation, make adjustments and minor repairs to optimize machine performance.
- Clean, lubricate, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment. Disassembles machinery to inspect for defects and replace compromised components. Reassemble machinery according to manufacturer’s procedures.
- Ability to repair and fabricate components using shop machine tools and applicable welding techniques.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematic and mechanical drawings.
