CORE SERVICES DIRECTOR

Grays Harbor Public Utility District is seeking a full-time Core Services Director to oversee the Information Technology, Telecommunications, Facilities, and Purchasing/Warehouse Departments. Duties and tasks include performance management and setting strategic direction for supervisors, employee hiring and development, work planning, collaborative problem solving and coordination with other departments, managing change, and budgeting, all in support of the safe, reliable delivery of high value utility services to customers

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration; and three (3) years’ progressive experience; or ten (10) years of progressively more responsible experience of work and projects in this position’s areas of responsibility, including at least three (3) years’ leadership experience; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the above.  Experience in supervising union employees and interpreting and administering collective bargaining agreements is preferred.
