East Stroudsburg University's Department of Business Management is looking for a non-tenure-track instructor(s) to teach introductory and advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance. Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, ESU's proximity to New York City and Philadelphia provides convenient access to internships, careers and social activities. Just minutes from campus are the country's largest water parks, scenic Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area, Appalachian Trail, and other opportunities for recreational fun.

Candidates must be able to teach the following: Financial Management 1 (MGT 301), Investments (MGT 340 and/or 342), Entrepreneurial Finance (MGT 315) and planned classes in Financial Planning and Insurance/Risk Management. Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to teach additional upper-level and graduate Finance classes or other classes. The successful candidate will be an active member of the department. The candidate may be hired as an Instructor, an Assistant Professor or an Associate Professor, depending on experience. The position is for one year, but following completion of that period, the successful candidate may be considered for a tenure-track position if one is approved.

ESU's Business Management Department offers a offers several programs of study that lead to a Bachelor of Science degree as well as two programs leading to Master of Science degrees, including one in Accounting. The programs offer a comprehensive foundation of courses and an opportunity for students to select elective courses within specific areas of Business Management to prepare students to excel in their career and life.

Qualifications:
Candidates for the position must hold a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Finance (or Business Administration with a concentration in Finance) from an AACSB-accredited university. ABDs will be considered provided the degree will be awarded by August 2023.
