The Student Surgical Technician Intern assembles case carts for surgical procedures and acts as a scrub assistant for surgical procedures under the direct supervision of a surgical technologist. Duties include arranging and passing instruments, sponges and sutures, cont sponges, needles, and other instruments as needed. Completes post-operative clean-up and other related duties.
